Annual Fund

The CSO’s Annual Fund provides critical support and ensures that the CSO can continue to inspire, engage, and enrich the greater Chattanooga community through music and music education.

For nearly 90 years, the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera has been an instrumental part of our community and has enhanced the region’s quality of life and economic vitality. In addition to concerts the CSO performs in the historic Tivoli Theatre, the CSO has a longstanding tradition of providing music education and community engagement programs that have inspired – and continue to inspire – generations of individuals throughout the region. Through our mainstage concerts, educational programming, and community engagement activities, the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera reaches approximately 100,000 individuals in the region each year.

The more successful our programs become by serving more of the community, the more costly they are to operate. Proceeds from ticket sales and other earned revenue account for less than 40% of CSO’s annual operating budget. The rest of the budget is funded through individual donations, corporate support, and grants.

Please consider beginning or renewing your participation as an Annual Fund donor. Only with your help can we continue to inspire, engage, and enrich the greater Chattanooga community with music and music education. Your gift ensures that classical and orchestral music can keep inspiring generations of community members to come.
