CSO Car Raffle Rules
The CSO Car Raffle is a raffle contest in which no more than 1500 tickets will be offered. One (1) grand prize of a car, or cash, and possibly several additional prizes will be awarded. To win the prizes, participants must purchase tickets from either the CSO staff or CSO board members. Raffle tickets are $100 (or 6 for $500).
Winner need not be present to win. Additional prizes may be offered. All prizes, including the Grand Prize, will be drawn at the CSO’s Holiday Pops concert at the Tivoli Theatre on December 17, 2005.
Chances of winning are 1 in 1500.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Board members and employees of the CSO, Prebul Auto Group, WTVC-TV, NewsChannel 9, Ingram Group and Comcast, as well as immediate family members living in the Board member’s or employee’s home, are not eligible.
Grand Prize Winner will choose from three (3) options: 1) a 2006 Cadillac CTS, or 2) 2006 Mustang GT Convertible, or 3) a $20,000 credit toward the purchase of any Prebul AutoGroup vehicle.
There is no guarantee that the winner of the Grand Prize will be able to sell the car for the list price.
Grand Prize Winner agrees to be photographed at the time of receiving the grand prize and hereby grants the CSO permission to use the photograph for promotional purposes.
Per IRS ruling, the purchase of raffle tickets is not considered a gift and does not qualify as a tax-deductible charitable contribution.
The CSO reserves the right to reject any entry forms that are submitted with payment that does not constitute “good funds”. Defective entry forms will be disqualified by the CSO and any individuals and/or entities that submit such entry forms will be notified of the rejection as soon as practical under the circumstances. The CSO is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or undelivered mail.
